Fuse Morph

Description: I used slab to place all four sides onto the bottom slab. I slip and scored them. I then smoothed out the inside and outside. Afterwards I added pinapple like indentations to the outside of the piece. I covered the piece with brilliant red glaze and added some pink glaze to mix up the colors. I added yellow in the grooves even though after it was fired no one could notice. I also, used light yellow glaze in the center to
represent the pinapple side of the piece.

Analyzation: I used color to help show my vision. I used proportion and balance since the piece is even on both sides and works together as one put together piece. I used texture because of the grooves on the outside. The grooves also, show a sense of movement making your eyes move around the piece.

Interpretation: I made this as my fuse morph piece and wanted to combine a strawberry and a pineapple to a vase.

Judgement: I loved my piece before I glazed it. The glaze didn't come out how I was hoping it would. The light yellow on the iutside didn't even show uo and I was dissappointed about that as well as the yellow color in the center. It almost looks gold which was not the color I was going for.
